NEW ORDER

Within days after announcing his New Order, Emperor Palpatine found himself master of trillions of beings, and thousands upon thousands of worlds. Each passing day brought new worlds into the Empire. The economic calamities of the Old Republic were swiftly vanishing. The corruption in the government had ended, he had seen to that personally. Now it was time to strengthen the Empire.

Meeting with the heads of industry, Palpatine and his advisors unveiled their plans for the total redesign and expansion of the military. While the Navy was being expanded and upgraded, the Army was being raised from the dead. On all worlds, recruitment and conscription centers opened and beings poured into the Imperial Military, to help preserve peace, order and prosperity.

But all this success and growth came at a price. The disenfranchised senators that had been ousted from power when Palpatine declared his New Order had been building up their armies. Slowly, deliberately, secretly, they began to poison citizens and worlds against his noble rule. Establishing a pseudo-shadow government, they openly announced their rebellion. Using murder, terrorism, sabotage, piracy and mayhem as their tools, these senators began to do everything they could to make sure that the glorious reign of Palpatine was ended.

Outraged at the atrocities being committed against his people, Palpatine unleashed the Imperial Military against those who would oppose peace, order and justice. The Emperor made it clear to his commanders that nothing but victory would be accepted in this war against evil itself. Using the very liberties that they claimed did not exist under his rule, these malcontents began spreading lies through the holomedia. While Palpatine had a military force unmatched in its scope and power, he was almost powerless to stop their lies. The rebels spread rumors and lies of Imperial atrocities, while deftly covering up their own acts, blaming them on the Imperials instead. Knowing this struggle for the soul of the galaxy had to end, Palpatine ordered one of his most loyal servants, Grand Moff Tarkin to construct an armored space station to act as a deterrent against the forces of evil. Once the station was completed, it was sent to siege the world of Alderaan. This blow came most painfully to Palpatine. Alderaan had been a pacifist planet. Recently though, the Viceroy's daughter had been corrupted and had fallen in with this band of murderers. She had poisoned her father's heart against the Emperor and as a result, Alderaan was rearming itself, and building immense weapons of mass destruction. Deeply disturbed by this turn of events, Grand Moff Tarkin was given no other alternative, so he opened fire on the planet. His bombardment detonated a huge stockpile of illegal weaponry that the Alderaanians had been building for their seccession. The planet erupted and very few of its inhabitants survived.

Outraged at the loss of one of their largest arms providers, the treasonous rebels turned their attention to Tarkin. Filled with murderous hatred, they sent a taskforce to assassinate him and destroy the Death Star. Despite the valiant efforts of Lord Darth Vader, they were successful, destroying the Death Star, and all its crew over the planet Yavin.

Shortly after this incident, Lord Vader was placed in command of the Imperial Taskforce charged with rooting out and destroying this infectious rabble before they could cause any further damage. Through the skillful analysis of data by Admiral Piett, the Imperial fleet arrives at Hoth and routs the Rebels on the ice world, inflicting almost insurmountable casualties. Unfortunately for the Empire, the leadership of the rebellion managed to slither away. Vader later confronted one of the key conspirators at Bespin, but again was unable to catch the scum, who turned out to be his own son.

It is during this time that the Emperor decides to construct a new Death Star, fearing the rebels might try to strike at him on Coruscant. As the station nears completion, he sends Lord Vader to it over Endor to speed up the process. Finally, when the station is ready, the Emperor himself goes to the station. Fate would not smile on our beloved Emperor, and a major battle would ensue, ending in the destruction of the second Death Star, the deaths of all on board including Vader and the Emperor, and the routing of the Imperial fleet that had been assembled.
